| Ethanol is hygroscopic (comes along with 5% water azeotrop) and being parrtially oxidized has 40% of the energy comtained in gasoline. They also sell it at gasoline prices not at 40% off. We are getting robbed by the goverment-industry conglomerate. Gasoline will continue to rise slowly, As the world recession subsides and speculation resumes, prices will again reach $4 with no end in sight. Let us enjoy burning this liquid while it is still possible. The pleasure will not last. Not to worry though, performance cars will still exists, just with other sources of energy.
